Not so long ago Aunkita Nandi, Naveen Dhana Lak, Chris Evers, and myself went out on a trip for the Tier5 helping hands program. We went out to a little remote village in basically the jungle area of India.
When we arrived we were met with lots of love, but also lots of sadness. Love from all those from the village, especially the children, but sadness from within upon seeing and experiencing the life that those children live.
We went to their school, which was much more of a shack than a school. Built from spare piece of metal and mud, didn't even have a full roof on it, no furniture, the children sit on the dirt floor, sometimes in the mud, to learn. Hungry children, poor children, yet happy and smart children. Could you imagine your child there, in rags, sitting on the dirt floor, hungry, dirty, with an eagerness to learn?
So we sat, there in the dirt, with dirty hungry children, who were all so excited to be there with us, to entertain us, to learn from us, and at that moment I realized, that a simple software for you, could greatly change the lives of these children and anyone of them could actually change the world.
So we spoke with some elders in the village to understand their thought process and if they even valued education, if it made sense for us to come in and help, after all you cannot help those who won't help themselves.
We found out that for $10,000 we can build a proper school for these children, a brick school, with proper walls, a proper floor, a fucking proper roof, and desks, imagine that, desks so the children don't have to sit on the floor. Bathrooms with running water, a store house for supplies, a kitchen to cook, a place to eat, and classrooms for the children to learn, all the things we take for granted. All this we could do for just $10,000.
On top of that we could staff the school with a teacher, a helper, and a cook, and fill it with enough food to feed these children 2 meals a day, which really encourages them to come to school and learn, and who the fuck can learn when they are feeling hunger pains anyways.
So I did the math, and for $15,000 we can build the school, staff it, and feed and educate these children for an entire year.
So fuck it, these is how a simple chrome extension can change the world, how it can change lives, real lives. the lives of children, the most innocent of them all. And any one of these children, if loved, fed, and educated could grow up and help millions, or change the entire world.
So that's what we will do. That's what I will do, and that's what you will help us do.
Soon we will launch biggest fan. We will use this software to change the world.
100% of all revenue from this software will go to the Helping Hands program to build this school and feed these children.
Above I showed you what Biggest Fan is starting to look like.
Everyone that buys, especially the founding partners, will be highlighted in the case study we'll produce on how a simple software change completely change the world.
You all will get an amazing software, founders will get another lead magnet or another way to make money, the village gets a school, and the children get an education, and a chance to change their lives and escape poverty.
What do I get? I have enough already, I don't need anything, and it will make me happy to see these children taken care of. That's more than enough for me.
